Laser Crafting

I have bee using my Glowforge brand CNC laser cutter engraver to make laser crafted prjects for myself and for sale.

Here are some of the projects I have been working on:

Bread Basket:

This is an under-cabinet bread basket I made for my mother's kitchen. All the parts were cut from 1/8th inch plywood, (except for the wooden dowels.) The etched on art was provided by my sister. The finished pieces were glued together with wood glue and varnished with polyurethane. prototyping was done in cardboard.

Here are some pictures of the prototyping process showing test settings for my laser cutter and a few early prototypes.

Shelf Divider:

We repurposed an old filing cabinet to use as pantry storage. I decided to make some custom dividers to fit the existing hardward in the cabinet. Here is my cardboard prototype and a finished acrylic divider.

Window Vent:

I made a custom attachment for the Air Conditioner in my sister's bedroom. Made from both black and clear acrylic.
